Stars And Stripes Forever!

A few posts ago I said a few words about missing seeing our flag everywhere, the way it was after 911 when you couldn't go anywhere in the US without seeing them. US flags were on everything, cars, buildings, street posts, tshirts, you name it you saw the red white and blue proudly displayed.

I usually have the flag up at our house and I've got it on my car in the form of a decal.
I thought I would share with you some information about displaying our flag...

The image above is free for anyone to use in any way they want to use it. Simply left click then right click and save to your computer. I would be so happy to see this across the web, but do with it what you will.

My neighbor is a Vietnam Vet & flies his Flag and his MIA/POW flag every day. I love looking out the window & seeing it...makes me feel as if all is right in the world, even if it's not as it really should be.

It also makes me miss grandfathers...they were both in WWII - one in the European Theater, & one served Stateside. I was very proud of them. Still am. I have a vinyl flag on my car window & every time it fades from the sun, I replace it.

I'll proudly fly your flag on my blog!!
♥hugs♥

I love having my flags outside my front door. And I miss seeing our flag everywhere too. Thanks for the image!

Love this image, thanks so much for sharing it. Must have missed your post on the comments about the flag, will go back and look. I agree wholeheartedly. We've become complacent again. Let's hope and pray it doesn't take another 9-11 to wake us up.

Hello Thespa, I love this graphic! Thank you! We proudly display our flag every day ... I love seeing wave ever so gently in the breeze, or flapping strong a against the winds, only to then rest ever so silently. For it mimics the lives of this country in that way ...

I so agree with Lori, I hope it does not take another 911 to make people feel the sense of pride and comradeship amongst our people ...

I love your flag and will fly it proudly on my blog, Gal! My dad was an Air Force Pilot, my husband is retired Navy and out son is a Marine Pilot. You are right...I think more people need to think about what our flag stands for...Freedom to be SAFE to be you and me and make our own choices. What can we do to make our voices heard and not be told where we have to live, what we have to eat and what we have to be? Vote wisely!

Hugs,
