Fly Away - Mixed Media Art Piece

I've been working on this for about 3 days now. I say three days but not a full three days, I work full time running the embroidery dept. of a local company plus I work part time at my local scrapbook store Signed Sealed and Delivered (love that place) and in my spare time that isn't taking care of three kids and running errands etc, etc... I make art. Usually you will find me at my kitchen table after dinner and into the wee hours of the morning "de-stressing", sure I usually wake bleary eyed and still tired when I get up to do it all over again the next day but if I don't get my craft on I get cranky, and no one wants that, LOL.

I hand dyed the fabrics and trims and added some paint, some ink, some glue, some stitches by hand and by machine, some vintage buttons and findings,  and I also added some love.

What does little birdie say

I just love old hangers, they are so versatile. And I'm all about old Bingo cards right now. She still needs a few small finishing touches and when I find just the right pieces to use to finish it I will share the changes with you.
