Today is the one year anniversary of my dad's passing. I really can't believe it's been a year already. It doesn't seem like it's been that long since I talked to him and gave him a last hug and yet it feels like forever at the same time.
Today has been a day of reflection for me, viewing pictures, thinking about the good times, laughter, and tears. Thinking also of all the things that have happened this year that I would have liked to share with him. I made a memorial video last year for dad's funeral and was finally able to upload it today for friends and family to see, as well as for myself.

I am sorry that your heart is heavy today! I still have my Dad. My Mom passed away 5 years ago and
I think of her, Love her and Miss her everyday! May your heart be less heavy when you remember the good times and the love that is always there no matter what!

A passing year doesn't heal the hurt, no matter how many years have passed. It's been over 6 years since my dad passed away and yet sometimes it feels like just yesterday. May you find comfort in warm memories and in the company of everyone you hold dear. I hope you're feeling better too.

I STILL HAVE MY FATHER BUT 15 MONTHS AGO MY ONLY DAUGHTER AT THE AGE OF 33 PASSED ON TO HEAVEN AFTER BATTLING CANCER...I say that to say although our grief is different I know grief and it is lonely, painful and there are no short cuts through it. I WAS IN SHOCK THE FIRST 9 -10 MONTHS AND THERE ARE DAYS IT IS STILL NOT REAL.
I PRAY THAT EVERY DAY BRINGS YOU A NEW PEACE WITH THE REFRESHING OF YOUR HAPPIEST TIMES WITH HIM.
I AM HUGGING YOU REAL TIGHT AND WILL SHARE MORE, LATER IF IT WILL HELP YOU.
I AM PRAYING FOR YOU AND WOULD LOVE TO START A BLOGGY FRIENDSHIP. IT IS ART AND MY FAITH IN jesus THAT CONTINUES TO HEAL ME ON A DAILY BASIS...THAT IS WHY I AM INTERESTED IN TAKING YOUR CLASSES. I TAKE 10 PILLS OF A MORNING AND 3 ARE ANTIDEPRESSANTS AND I TAKE THE STOMACH MED.

I am sending hugs your way...know that feeling all so well. Time does not make it go away but we can hope that they are in a more peaceful place. My Dad would be celebrating his 85th birthday this Friday and it will be a difficult day. Embrace your Dad's spirit and let him come to you! HUGS!
