Help me decide...Swatches of a different sort...

Okay, so this is my accent wall that will be collaged with old paper.
My dilemma is that I don't know which paper to use. The old sheet music or the old dictionary pages?
Sorry my photos aren't the greatest. It was dark out when I got around to this tonight.

I have temporarily stapled a section of pages to each wall section as "swatches" of a different sort.

Music pages are on the left and the dictionary pages are on the right.

I'm leaning toward the old music pages because I think the dictionary pages might be too dark over the whole wall but not sure.

Let me know what you think in a comment if you would please help me out.

I really like the sheet music but the dictionary pages would be interesting but you are right it could be to dark.

what a wonderful accent wall you will have! i vote for the music sheets. i think a lighter wall would be better and i prefer the bigger scale of the pattern of the music sheet.

What a great idea! I would take the music sheets for a hole wall. The dictionary for some kind of mosaik on the wall. I think, i would prefer the the dictionary. Looks more vintage..making some kind of picture...tearing and layering ...oh lordy..that's an idea for my dining room, too(:o)
Thanks for the inspiration

I like the music sheets better and thing the dictionary sheets are too close in color to your chair. However if you are going to line them up carefully then stripes would look awesome. Try a 'swatch' of that!

yep, I agree. The music pages give you a ligter background and your chair show up better, it is "camoed" with the other pages.
