My best friend gave me this awesome tin shelf 2 years ago for my birthday. I loved it but didn't really have a space for it on my wall, so it sat on my back deck since then. Now that my studio is coming along I decided to make a spot for it, but black wasn't exactly going to fit in too well. So I painted it.
Here it is after I spray painted it with Rustoleum. Still too white for my space I wiped walnut stain on it then wiped it off.
Here it is hanging in the studio. I love how it turned out and how all the details in it really show up now. I'm hoping to put some things up there that will conceal the air conditioner and it's plug without blocking air flow. And check out the neat old chalkboard I found this weekend. Even though it is black I just adore the graphics on it. It's just temporarily sitting there.
I plan to hang it on the door.

It's really coming together. I can't wait to see how it's going to look! I also loved how you are putting up the sheet music around those exposed beams. I didn't know those were there. It is going to look even better than I imagined. Keep up the good work!
