Christmas Decorating...and a RED HOT Holiday SALE!!!

I cut a bunch of hickory branches and sprayed them with adhesive and sprinkled German glass glitter over them. I then tied the branches together and placed them in an old teapot, stuffing tissue paper inside to steady them up and finally placing shredded tissue paper at the top.
It really doesn't photograph well but it just sparkles like the Dickens when in the room.
I wanted to use a few of my collection of vintage ornaments and got the idea to hang them in with my mason jar chandelier. I love how it turned out but boy did it take a while to get them all hung up there.

I didn't want a copycat version of the Mason Jar Chandy so I collected different antique jars from flea markets. Took me quite a while but I love the assortment I found. Gray, different colors of blue, and clear. Ball, Mason, Kerr, Atlas, an extremely rare Swayzee, and even a Jumbo Peanut Butter jar. Really adds interest with all the different ones hanging together.

Our family ornament, picked up in  MS while visiting my mom.

My mom got this white tree at a great price last year at Dillard's after Christmas sale.
I'm really loving this tree.
It goes perfectly with my living room and my hand made ornaments.
One of my handmade poinsettias, find the free tutorial on my tutorials page (find it in the tab bar at the top of this blog).
I found some brass butterfly cutouts from the 80's, painted country blue of course, and applied glue then added lots of German Glass Glitter to them. They looks amazing tucked into the tree here and there.

I'm still in love with this old typewriter I picked up last year. Each season I find something to tuck behind the keys and this vintage santa postcard was just too good to pass up. my handmade santa art doll is right at home here. (and that artwork in the background was the piece my youngest placed 1st in the state art competition for 2nd grade a few years ago. I just love it)

Another glittered branch tucked in behind my grandmas old clock. I wish it worked but I just love it's charm.
 Still loving my Ardex countertops!

Also I'm starting my megasale on my online classes today. Lowest price they have ever been.
Get them for only $20 each or for a very limited time get all three class for only $45!!!!
