Fairy Baby Art Doll

Just wanted to share my sweet little fairy baby I made Sunday.
I've got a huge bag full of wooden wings I found at a thrift store and have been trying to use them up, one set down only like 150 to go, lol.

Mixed Media snowmen bottles Update

I did finally get my altered bottle snowmen finished (I say finished but my motto is..."when in doubt add MORE!" so I'll probably change them 6 times before I'm happy with them)
But as it stands I've got "Snow White" (Using an antique Lanol White Bottle) Love the pun. She's got her pearls, velvet ribbon and princess hat.
"Snow Man" (he's the one I will probably be changing the most) He needs "more".
and "Jack Frost" I like him. He reminds me of a certain little boy who loves to get dirty and have fun!

I love my little snow people family. Now I just need to make two more girls and my set will be complete. See my earlier post to learn the inspiration behind these...
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Altered Spoon Mixed Media Flower Art Doll (Alice in Wonderland Inspiration)

So this is my very first Mixed Media Art Doll. I made her using some of the junk I found this past weekend as well as some of the coffee dyed fabric, flowers, and lace from my coffee dye tutorial. I incorporated sterling silver spoons as well as a Sculpey face.
I love the Alice in Wonderland Story and have always been drawn to the idea of flowers with faces so this is my interpretation of those. (Can't wait for the Tim Burton Alice In Wonderland movie to come out)

The caption on the wood block is cut from an old childrens poetry book about the seasons. This one is from spring.

Upcoming events...

I have some VERY Exciting news to share soon. Can't wait to spill the beans!
