I made some canvas covered wooden houses this weekend and started playing with them. This is one of my projects. I'm so happy to have actually finished some things to be able to share.
This is another project using antique song tiles from antique music sheets.
***Don't forget to enter the Hymnal Title Challenge*** I've got going. You've got 7 more days to enter.

This is the second house I did, still not really happy with it and may change it up some. Still thinking on it.
I made one other project that is my favorite for this weekend. I can't wait to show it to you tomorrow. I have to add one little detail this evening and then it will be finished.
I hope you all had a great weekend!

Those are beautiful! I never thought to cover something in canvas, what a great idea! You have inspired me, and you have a lovely blog so I'll be back for another visit soon! Take care.
Those are darling! I love the lil bird (I'm a sucker for a blue/brown combo). I think maybe a little bling on the 2nd one...a rhinestone or pearl swirl...it's almost like it went more prim 'n grungy than vintage-y. It's cute though, cuz I like prim, too! *LOL*
♥hugs♥
Thespa, just catching up with you. I have been loaded down with work and hardly did any visiting last week. You've been busy! I just love these canvas on wood collages! Love that you found "Bird Song" to put on his wing! Perfect! And congrats to the 11 year-old! And to his parents!
Hugs! Diane
Love you little houses! The canvas adds such wonderful texture to play with.
